Originally from the Lake District, Alice grew up surrounded by arguably the most stunning landscape in England, mountain biking was an easy and freeing way to explore this beautiful terrain. Being a keen adventurer, she spent every opportunity searching for new experiences and memories on the bike. Her recent move to London has led to her discovering the joys of riding fixed in the city and she quickly became involved in the local crit scene, here she joined Fixed Beers Race Team. During the week she can be found at Apidura living and breathing bikepacking. Alice looks at the future of Steezy, keeping a targeted mission and keeping the collective moving forwards.
Kitty found cycling in 2015 after a bad rugby injury. She quickly became an integral part of the university club and started a development contingency of the cycling club. As her skills grew she loved bringing new riders on board, getting them acquainted with safe cycling and enjoying the open road. The group gradually developed onto longer rides, overnighters and racing! All whilst enjoying everything cycling in London had to offer. After university she continued this momentum and this is how Steezy Collective began. Kitty is the Steezy facilitator, if there is something someone wants to do she’ll make it happen. She runs the calendar and makes sure the logistics are all tied up.
Hailing from London, ON, Canada, Taylor first got into cycling by touring on vintage bikes in south western Ontario’s Great Lakes region. She has since discovered the worlds of fixed gear, track, MTB, off-roading, bikepacking, and ultra distance racing. She now finds herself in what she calls ‘big London’ and currently works as the ‘make-things-happen’ person for Stayer Cycles, as well as an events face over at Brother Cycles. Taylor is an active writer and contributor to ADVNTR.CC and is an HB130 Hope Ambassador. Taylor is Steezy’s creative vision, she has a keen eye for what works and how to make the world that little bit Steezier everyday.
